When you send a secure message in Outlook 2002 or Outlook 2000, you may need to use a certificate that does not match your e-mail address. This tweak allows you to turn off e-mail matching for certificates.

Open your registry and find the key below.

Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called 'SupressNameChecks' using the settings below.

Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.

Settings:

Name: SupressNameChecks
Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value: (0 = default, 1 = supress checks)
